Systems Administrator at Hipaa Vault

Drew Gotshalk is currently a Systems Administrator at Hipaa Vault. Drew previously worked as a Contact Tracing Assistant at the County of Hawaii Civil Defense Agency from August 2020 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for processing paperwork and answering and making calls to clients or the public regarding policies. Prior to that, they worked as a CYBERCANOE Student Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Hilo from January 2020 to May 2020, where they developed an Augmented Reality table using Angular with a team of students for the Imiloa Astronomy Center. Drew also worked as a Student Researcher at the University of Hawaii at Hilo from June 2019 to August 2019, where they annotated images that were taken by divers of the coral reefs surrounding the island of Hawaii. Drew also created a data preprocessing pipeline for these images to analyze the health and prevalence of coral reef bleaching.

Drew Gotshalk has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the same school. Drew also has certification from the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) as a Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) and certification from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in Database Management.
