Sung-Jin Kim

Sung-Jin Kim has worked in various roles since 1999. Sung-Jin started as a Research Assistant at UC Irvine, where they worked in two research labs (DREAM Lab and VIS Lab) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, focusing on real-time distributed computing and distributed visualization. Sung-Jin then moved to Calit2 @ UCIrvine in 2007, taking on the role of Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2010, they became the CTO and Co-Founder of Hiperwall.

Sung-Jin Kim received their B.S. in Mathematics from Korea University in 1997, followed by an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Chicago in 1999. Sung-Jin then went on to earn their Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Irvine in 2006.
