Dr. Ahmed Mian

Dr. Ahmed Mian is an experienced emergency physician currently serving at Humber River Hospital and the University Health Network since June 2012. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mian holds multiple leadership roles including Director of Medical Education, Chair of the Medical Education Committee, and Treasurer of the Medical Staff Association. Dr. Mian also contributes as a coroner for the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General, a faculty member at the University of Toronto and Queen's University, and serves as an expert opinion provider for The Canadian Medical Protective Association. Further involvement includes roles as an investigator for The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, online content editor for EBSCO Information Services, and freelance contributor for Hippo Education, LLC. Dr. Mian's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Ottawa, a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine from Western University, and a Masters Certification in Healthcare Leadership from Schulich School of Business - York University.
