Joe Lindner started their work experience as an Actuarial Intern at Sentry Insurance in June 2008. Joe then joined Universal North America in September 2009 as an Actuary and stayed there until November 2016. From December 2016 to April 2021, Joe worked as an Actuary at Tower Hill Insurance Group. Currently, they serve as the Manager of Actuary Loss Reserving at Hippo Insurance, starting in May 2021.

Joe Lindner attended Carleton College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. In November 2014, they also obtained the FCAS certification.
