Paul Wigham

Paul Wigham has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Paul is currently working as an Enterprise Risk & Business Process Executive at Hippo Insurance since May 2023. Prior to that, Paul worked as a Governance, Risk Management & Audit Consultant starting from December 2022 to May 2023.

From November 2020 to October 2022, Paul held the position of Senior Vice President - Chief Risk Officer at Oscar Health. In this role, they oversaw all risk functions and led a team of over 70 risk professionals. Paul was also a member of the Leadership and Disclosure committees and chaired the Enterprise Risk Committee.

Before joining Oscar Health, Paul worked at AIG for several years. Paul served as the Senior Managing Director - Chief Auditor General Insurance and Global Business Services from June 2016 to November 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of IA Managing Director - EMEA and Global Claims & Operations from January 2013 to June 2016.

Paul's earlier experiences include working as the Chief Audit Executive at Irish Life group from January 2010 to January 2013, Chief Auditor - Various at Allied Irish Banks from May 2003 to December 2009, Executive - Internal Audit at Riyad Bank from February 2001 to April 2003, Deputy Head of Internal Audit at National Bank of Kuwait from December 1998 to January 2001, Head of Internal Audit - UK at MeesPierson from September 1996 to December 1998, and various roles at Provident Mutual Life Assurance Association from March 1990 to July 1996.

Paul Wigham pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors from 1994 to 1997. During this time, they obtained a degree in Internal Audit, specifically a CMIIA qualification. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, Paul attended the University College Dublin, where they completed an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management.
