Vivian Gunawan

Vivian Gunawan's work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Hippo Insurance starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern for the Sales Engineering Team at Ribbon Communications from July to August 2021. In this role, they built an AWS-based demonstration environment and created life-like scenarios to showcase the functionality of Ribbon Analytics. Additionally, they surveyed the feasibility of using the demonstration environment for customer testing. Before that, Vivian served as an AI4ALL Coordinator at AI4ALL in 2019. In this position, they developed an AI curriculum, conducted lectures and labs for high school students, and organized industry visits and talks with AI researchers.

Vivian Gunawan has a strong academic background in the field of computer science and neuroscience. From 2017 to 2022, they attended Boston University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience. Additionally, they completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Boston University during the same time frame. Vivian Gunawan obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in January 2022 and their Master of Science degree in January 2022, both from Boston University.
