Robert Lambert is an experienced professional with a strong background in information governance, project management, and IT consulting. Currently serving as the Information Governance and Assurance Manager at HIQA since April 2019, Robert also works as an Independent Consultant for Analytical Monitoring Systems Ltd since January 2015, engaging in assignments such as data analysis, business feasibility, and IoT development. The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) is an independent statutory authority established to promote safety and quality in the provision of health and social care services for the benefit of the health and welfare of the public. Our mandate to date extends across a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector services. Reporting to the Minister for Health and engaging with relevant government Ministers and departments, HIQA has responsibility for the following: - Setting standards for health and social care services - Regulating social care services - Regulating health services - Monitoring services - Health technology assessment - Health information - National Care Experience Programme
