Aleksey Balashov

Aleksey Balashov has worked in the engineering field since 2005. Aleksey began their career as a Technician for Avangard JSC, then moved up to Embedded Software and Systems Engineer for the same company. In 2019, they became a Lead Engineer for JSC Avangard NITI, and in 2021 they joined HiQo Solutions, Inc. as an Embedded Systems Engineer. In 2020, they also took on a role as a Software Engineer, developing a machine vision system that generates control signals for an actuator based on STM32, using Python and OpenCV.

Aleksey Balashov attended Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Instrumentation Speciality. Prior to that, they attended the Saint-Petersburg Electronical Engineering College from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a technician degree in Electronic Machinery, Complexes, Systems and Sets. Aleksey also holds certifications in Operational Systems, Automatization Testing with Selenium and Python, Data Bases, Software Testing with ISTQB Foundation, Git, and Linux, all obtained through Stepik.
