Emily Baladad Gomez, M.S. CCC, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in career counseling, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and student development. Currently serving as a DEI Business Partner at Hire Heroes USA since January 2016, Emily develops and implements comprehensive DEI programs and conducts training, while also managing diversity reporting. Previously, as Program Manager for the Federal Sector, Emily oversaw programs that assist federal job seekers in navigating the employment process. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Emily excelled as Assistant Director, providing guidance to students and enhancing engagement through targeted programming. Emily's background includes roles in admissions outreach with the U.S. Coast Guard and various educational support positions, culminating in a strong foundation in student advocacy and career services demonstrated through a Master of Science in Career Counseling and other advanced degrees in anthropology.
