Lisa Medina is the Director of Technology at HireAthena. Lisa has over three years of experience in accounting and has been with HireAthena for nine months. Prior to their current position, Lisa was an Accounting Advisory Supervisor at MGO (Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP) for eight months, where they implemented and migrated systems, trained internal and external teams in platforms and processes, and performed review of month end financial packets and updating schedules. Before that, Lisa was an Audit Staff Accountant at Bong Hillberg Lewis Fischesser LLP for five months.

Lisa Medina has a Master of Science in Accountancy from California State University-East Bay, a Bachelor of Business Administration from California State University-Hayward, and is certified as a Bill.com Expert and Guru, a Certified Implementer from Sage Intacct, Inc., and a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy. Lisa also has an Expensify Expert Certification from Expensify.
