Surya P.

Surya P. has a long history of work experience in the software engineering and product development fields. Surya started their career as a Software Consultant in 1999, working with organizations such as the Massachusetts High Technology Council, Linda McCartney Foods & Ethnic Gourmet (of Heinz Foods, Inc.), the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, and Amherst College. In 2000, they worked as a Software Consultant for LifetecNet, Inc. and then in 2002, they worked as a Software Consultant for AdamsHand, Inc. In 2003, they worked as an Engineer for Verizon Communications. Finally, from 2007 to present, they have been with Hirezon / Interview Exchange, where they have held the roles of Vice President of Product Development, Director of Product Development, IT Solutions Architect, and Senior Software Engineer. As Director of Product Development, they have interacted with vendors and partners to expand product offerings and with clients for sales meetings, product launches and integrations, resulting in the launch of 10+ partner integrations increasing overall annual revenue by 8%. Surya has also collaborated with business, marketing, and support teams and managed development of policies (cybersecurity, acceptable use, etc.) for products and organization and implementation of these policies across various teams. Additionally, they have managed offshore software development and QA teams and onsite and offsite consultants.

Surya P. attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Technologies.
