Tomaso Manca

Tomaso Manca is the Head of Marketing at Hiro Robotics, a company co-founded in 2018, focused on creating sustainable human-inspired robotics by transforming electronic waste into a valuable resource. Previously, Tomaso held the position of Editor at Cobotics World from March 2019 to February 2022, contributing to the visibility of cobot suppliers. As a Robotics Research Engineer at IRT Jules Verne from December 2016 to May 2018, Tomaso developed a vision-based controlled cobotic system and maintained a laser-based system for collaborative robots. An internship at Airbus in mid-2016 involved developing a motion planner and controller for a mobile robot prototype. Academic qualifications include a European Master in Advanced Robotics from Centrale Nantes and Università degli Studi di Genova and a degree in Electronic and Information Technologies Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova.
