Hirosaki University
Nanako Sasanuma is a Ph.D. candidate at Hirosaki University since April 2022 and will serve as a guest Ph.D. student at DTU Wind and Energy Systems from August 2023 to July 2024. Previous experience includes training at 九州大学 in August 2022, focusing on turbine wake effects through SCADA data and LES simulation software. Internships at Japan Wind Energy Consulting Inc. Hirosaki University was established in the former castle town of Hirosaki in 1949. It is a national university and is located in Aomori prefecture, situated at the northern end of Honshu Island. Hirosaki University is comprised of five faculties. The Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Science together serve to cover almost every academic field. It is a medium-sized University with a capacity for 5800 students to enroll.
