Dan Laird

Dan Laird has extensive work experience in various industries. Dan currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Hirsh Industries, LLC since May 2023. Before that, they were working as an IT Manager - Application Development at FHLB Des Moines from 2017 to June 2023. Prior to that, they were the VP Member Services at Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines from August 2004 to June 2023. Dan started their career as a Credit Analyst at AmerUs Group from November 2000 to August 2004. Dan also worked as a Financial Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1998 to 2000.

Dan Laird completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Afterward, they pursued an MBA in Finance at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, from 1994 to 1998.
