Samira Akther

Samira Akther has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Samira most recently worked as a Staff Accountant at HIS Innovations Group, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were an Accounting Specialist at MARYVILLE NURSING HOME from August 2021 to April 2022. Samira also worked as a Data Analyst, Tax at Amazon and a Project Resource Associate at Two Degrees in 2021. Samira has previous experience as a Graduate Assistant at Kent State University from August 2015 to December 2016. Additionally, they served as a CFA Research Challenge Team Leader for the Kent State University Team from January 2016 to May 2016, where they conducted research and presented investment recommendations.

Samira Akther has a diverse education history that includes both graduate and undergraduate studies. Samira obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics and Intelligence (evening program) from the Portland State University - School of Business in 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance at Kent State University from 2015 to 2016. To build their foundation in the field, Samira completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance at the University of Dhaka. Additionally, they received a certification in Excel 2016: Macros in Depth from LinkedIn in July 2020.
