Stephanie Frisch is a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in advocacy and litigation. Currently serving as a Senior Attorney at Hiscock Legal Aid Society since December 2018, Stephanie has previously worked as an Associate Attorney at Bosman Law Firm, L.L.C. & Child Rights Initiative Inc., and has gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk at Donnellan & Knussman, PLLC. Early in the career, Stephanie held positions as a Legal Intern at the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and at the Albany Law Clinic & Justice Center Family Violence Litigation Clinic. An internship at the Empire Justice Center further contributed to Stephanie's expertise, particularly in research for Social Security Disability and Income cases. Academically, Stephanie holds a Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from Hartwick College.

At Hiscock Legal Aid Society (HLA), we are dedicated to the principle that no one in Onondaga County shall be denied justice because of a lack of means. HLA, founded in 1949, promotes the fundamental right of every person to equal justice under the law. We provide high quality legal assistance to individuals and families in Onondaga County and the surrounding region. Our practice areas cover a variety of immigration matters, mandated family court cases, divorce, domestic violence, housing, unemployment, appeals, parole revocation, and extradition. We work collaboratively with other legal assistance and human service providers to develop innovative ways to provide needed services to the maximum number of people in our community. In the last 18 months, we’ve handled more than 10,000 cases and impacted more than 14,000 people.
