Bernardo Gomes

Bernardo Gomes is an experienced data management professional currently serving as the Head of Data for Hiscox Europe since June 2014. In this role, Bernardo oversees the implementation of a multi-year strategic Data Programme, focusing on a new Target Operating Model, building a Data Ecosystem, and establishing an Analytics Centre of Excellence. Previously, Bernardo held several key positions at Hiscox, including Senior Business Intelligence Architect, where the emphasis was on defining a BI strategy, and Business Intelligence Development Manager, focusing on sustainable data architecture. Prior experience includes serving as an IT & Management Consultant at KPMG Portugal, with a focus on IT Enablement and Business Intelligence across various sectors. Bernardo holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
