Charlotte Paterson currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer for London Market and Hiscox Syndicates Limited, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this, Charlotte held significant roles at Swiss Re from May 2014 to November 2023, including CRO for Swiss Re Europe and Head of Risk Management, as well as Head of Regulatory Risk Management for EMEA. Charlotte’s career also includes a tenure as a Technical Specialist at the Bank of England and as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission, where expertise was provided in developing the Solvency II legal framework.
