Steven Wilkins

Steven Wilkins is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with a strong background in underwriting performance, data analytics, and strategic development, currently serving as the Group Head of Underwriting Performance at Hiscox since September 2013. Wilkins has held various leadership roles within Hiscox, including Head of Data Labs, where a new function was established to enhance data utilization across the organization, and Head of Underwriting Insight, delivering critical analysis to support the Group Chief Underwriting Officer. In addition, Wilkins has contributed to the company as a Senior Vice President at Hiscox USA, overseeing casualty underwriting and strategic projects aimed at growth and operational efficiency. Wilkins holds an MMath in Mathematics from the University of Bath and has developed foundational industry knowledge and key analytical skills, including expertise in SQL.
