Tomaž Kos

Tomaž Kos is an accomplished Embedded System Software Engineer and Research and Development Engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. Currently employed at Hisense Europe, Tomaž focuses on developing innovative cloud-connected washing machines. Tomaž's career spans several positions at the Jozef Stefan Institute, contributing to groundbreaking research in electronic ceramics and systems control, along with collaborations at international institutions such as Technische Universität Darmstadt and École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. With a strong foundation in electronics engineering, Tomaž has developed unique measurement systems, acquired expertise in embedded systems and firmware development, and gained skills in problem-solving and teamwork throughout numerous research projects. Tomaž holds a Doctor of Science in System Control Engineering, complemented by advanced degrees in Electronics Engineering from the University of Ljubljana.
