Jin Hong

Jin Hong has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on optical communications. Jin has held various leadership positions throughout their career, including Vice President roles at companies such as ONI Systems, Ciena Communications, Oplink Communications, StrataLight Communications, Opnext, Oclaro, NEOPhotonics, and EMCORE Corporation. Jin has expertise in product management, engineering, program management, and business development. Most recently, they served as the Executive VP & President of the Data Center Business at Hisense Broadband Multimedia Technologies, Ltd. Prior to that, they were the GM of R&D and VP of the Data Center Group at Intel Corporation.

Jin Hong completed a Ph.D. in Optoelectronics from the University of Waterloo, from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued their M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Fiber Optics from the University of Science and Technology of China, from 1981 to 1989.
