John Jin

John Jin possesses extensive experience in opto-electronic packaging and research and development within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as an OSA designer at Hisense Broadband Multimedia Technologies, Ltd. since July 2018, John previously held the position of Vice President of R&D and Test Development at Lightip Technologies, where significant contributions included the development of TOSA with wavelength locker and the port-agnostic 10G tunable SFP transceiver. Prior roles include Senior R&D Engineer at Oclaro, where John focused on tunable lasers and product innovation, along with positions at Hisenseopto, JDSU, Perkinelmer, and SAE, accumulating a wealth of knowledge in engineering and design. John holds a Master's degree in Nonlinear Optics from Harbin Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Harbin University of Science and Technology.
