Ivonne Diaz-Claisse, Ph.D. is an experienced Educational Consultant and Founder and CEO of HISPA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring students' performance and achievement. With a background in Mathematics and Operations Research, Ivonne has held positions at companies such as AT&T and LNJ. Ivonne holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Arizona State University, an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, and a Master's in Engineering in Operations Research from Cornell University. Ivonne also earned a BS in Mathematics from Universidad de Puerto Rico.

HISPA inspires Latino students to discover their potential and ignites their desire to embrace education and achieve success. To reduce dropout rates, intervention is needed as early as middle school; Research suggests this age represents a critical moment to increase awareness of educational and career opportunities. Relatedly, there is a strong correlation between students having a role model and their pursuit of higher education.
