Anahi Velasco

Anahi Velasco is a Communications Manager at Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) since February 2023. Previously, Anahi served as the GEAR UP Digital Media and Branding Specialist at California State University, Fullerton, from August 2019 to November 2022, where Anahi managed a team and utilized data analytics for branding and marketing strategies. Anahi also held marketing and public relations roles at the WoMen's and Adult Reentry Center and Mesa Cooperativa, respectively, where responsibilities included planning promotional strategies and managing multiple Latinx organizations. Anahi began a career in education as a Teacher Assistant at Bakersfield College, focusing on child development. Anahi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton, and completed a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship with COOP Careers Fellowship.
