Marisabel Pozo Montalvo, MUPP, is a Business Capacity Program Manager at HACIA. Previously, Marisabel worked as the Director of Economic Development at NRC and held various roles in zoning, permitting, project management, and research in different organizations. Marisabel holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy in Environmental Planning from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Earth and Environmental Sciences.

A 501 (c) (6) organization founded in 1979, the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA) works to ensure the equitable participation of diverse businesses and talent in the construction industry. HACIA is a not-for-profit business organization providing technical assistance and business capacity development services to MBE, WBE and DBE and other diverse firms with the goal of developing long-term sustainability & capacity. HACIA represents more than 350 companies that includes everything from professional service firms to construction-related businesses, collectively employing approximately 7,000 workers with an annual economic impact of over $400 million.
