William Campos

Development Coordinator at Hispanic Heritage Foundation

William Campos is an experienced professional currently serving as the Development Coordinator at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation since October 2021. Previously, Campos held the position of Activist from May 2020 to January 2023. From January to November 2015, Campos was a State Delegate in the Maryland State Legislature, and from November 2004 to November 2014, Campos served as a County Council Member for District 2 of Prince George's County. In the earlier part of their career, Campos worked as Latino Liaison for Prince George's County, enhancing communication between the County Executive and the Latino community, and as an Information Technology Specialist at Digex Inc. Campos holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Archaeology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Computers - Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Since being established by The White House in 1987, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) has identified, inspired, prepared, and positioned Latino leaders in the classroom, community, and workforce to meet America's priorities. HHF is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization focused on "a Latino helping hundreds more"​ through year-round programs including: Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards, Latinos on Fast Track (LOFT), Hispanic Heritage Awards (HHAs), Multi-Media Public Awareness Campaign.
