Mfs Shannon Bruce

Shannon Bruce, MFS has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shannon's most recent role is as a Senior Scientist - Study Director at Inotiv, where they began in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at MilliporeSigma as a Study Director (Senior Scientist) from September 2019 to January 2022.

Shannon also has a significant tenure at BioReliance, where they held multiple roles. From November 2015 to September 2019, they served as a Study Director (Scientist), overseeing various assays and managing the scheduling and performance of studies in the Tier II/Screening assay laboratory. Before that, Shannon was a Laboratory Supervisor from January 2005 to November 2015, taking responsibility for assay development, qualification, and validation, as well as equipment and process validation within the laboratory.

Earlier in their career, Shannon worked at Subway as an Assistant Manager from May 1998 to August 2004, where they supervised shift workers, handled cash, and conducted training for new employees. They also worked at Colgate Palmolive as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician from August 2003 to July 2004, performing microbiological testing on toothpaste samples and assisting with the preparation of reagents.

Lastly, Shannon worked at Missi Contract Assembly as a Packager from April 2000 to July 2003, where they packaged electronic parts using static resistant materials, conducted quality control, and managed inventory levels of anti-static packaging materials.

Shannon Bruce, MFS, has a well-rounded educational background in the field of chemistry and biotechnology. They obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Indiana University Southeast from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Forensic Science (M.F.S) specializing in Forensic Chemistry from The George Washington University between 2004 and 2006. Shannon later engaged in continuing education in Biotechnology at Montgomery College from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their educational achievements, Shannon also holds certifications in subjects related to fighting gender bias at work and uncovering unconscious bias in recruiting and interviewing, which were obtained from LinkedIn in December 2021.
