Agnieszka Davren has extensive experience in human resources management. Agnieszka currently serves as the Head of Strategic People Projects at Historic Environment Scotland, where they manage three significant HR projects. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Director at Twig Education, where they built and led an HR function and team to support start-up businesses in Europe and the UK. Agnieszka has also held the position of Head of Human Resources at SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority, where they maintained and improved the HR function supporting a staff of 1,000. Additionally, they served as the HR Services Manager at EVH - supporting social employers, where they provided HR support to member organizations and led a team of professionals. Agnieszka began their career as an HR Advisor at B&Q. Throughout their career, Agnieszka has achieved numerous successes in areas such as HR strategy development, post-acquisition integration, talent management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits strategy, HR system improvement, learning and development, and job evaluation.
Agnieszka Davren has a diverse educational background. In 1995, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Silesia in Katowice. Agnieszka'sfield of study focused on applying psychology principles in business and managerial studies. Continuing their education, Agnieszka pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management at the University of Strathclyde from 2003 to 2005, expanding their knowledge in human resources management and services.
In 2006, they obtained a Paralegal Qualification in Employment Law from Central Law Scotland, specializing in employment law. Agnieszka also dedicated their time to further professional development. Agnieszka became a Chartered Fellow Member of the CIPD, an organization focused on developing HR and L&D professionals.
In terms of executive education, in 2019, Agnieszka attended the Institute of Directors (IoD) and completed a Certificate in Company Direction. This program equipped their with expertise in strategy, governance, finance, and leadership for company directors.
Lastly, Agnieszka Davren became a member of Devonshire House in 2017, further highlighting their commitment to professional growth and engagement within their industry.
