Head Of Planning, Consents And Advice at Historic Environment Scotland

Ann MacSween is the Head of Planning, Consents and Advice at Historic Environment Scotland since March 2017. Prior to this role, Ann served as the Head of Strategic Heritage Management at Historic Scotland from April 2011 to February 2017. Ann holds a Master of Arts in Archaeology from The University of Edinburgh, a MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Heriot-Watt University, a MA in Scientific Methods in Archaeology from the University of Bradford, and a PhD in Prehistoric ceramics from the same institution. Ann completed their secondary education at Cumnock Academy.
