Edgar Dodds

Edgar Dodds has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Edgar is currently working as the Head of IT at Historic Environment Scotland since 2017. Prior to this, they worked at RBS where they held various roles including the Head of Global Change & Config Management from 2013 to 2015. Before their time at RBS, Dodds worked at Motorola Solutions as the Senior Director of IT Site Operations and Service Delivery Director, among other roles. Edgar also has experience working at Getronics as a Program Manager and at BP as an IT Consultant. Dodds started their career at Ferranti as a SCADA System Design.

Edgar Dodds attended Dumfries Academy from 1972 to 1976, but did not attain a degree or specialize in any particular field during this time. Later, from 1977 to 1979, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Heriot-Watt University.
