Prabhakar Kawale has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Prabhakar began their career as a Quantity Surveyor at GJ Construction in 2005. Prabhakar then moved on to Shruti Construction Ltd as a Project Manager from 2008 to 2009. In 2011, they joined Gleeds as a Senior Project Manager and Quality Manager, where they worked on projects such as Hines - One Horizon Center, Walmart, and various other projects in India and the Maldives. In 2014, they worked as a Consultant for various projects, including strategy consulting for KOWL (Atkins & Pilot Renewables) and consultancy services for Kincardine Offshore Windfarm Ltd (KOWL). From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Consultant for Atkins Future Energies, focusing on business plan review, strategic merger/acquisition reports, and global market analysis of renewable technologies. Prabhakar then joined Senvion UK Ltd as a Process Improvement Advisor in 2016, where they streamlined the projects division and supported the development of annual strategic plans. From 2017 to 2018, they took on the role of Senior Programme Manager at The City of Edinburgh Council, leading the delivery of construction projects. In 2019, they became the Organisational Effectiveness Manager at the same company. Finally, in 2020, they became the Head of Project Portfolio at Historic Environment Scotland. Throughout their career, Prabhakar Kawale has specialized in project and program management, property developments, business case development, financial modeling, strategy, systems development, change and transformation, leadership, planning, and decision making.

Prabhakar Kawale received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. Prabhakar continued their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Construction, Enterprise, and Project Management at the University of Dundee from 2009 to 2010. Later, in 2014 to 2015, they attended the University of Edinburgh Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Strategy.

In addition to their academic degrees, Prabhakar Kawale obtained certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Prabhakar became a Chartered Builder/Construction Manager through The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in December 2017. Furthermore, in July 2013, they acquired the Primavera P6 Professional Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
