Historian/acting Team Leader at Historic Royal Palaces

Errol Clayton is an experienced professional in the performing arts and heritage sector, currently serving as the Acting Team Leader - Palace Host and State Apartment Warder at Historic Royal Palaces since March 2018. Prior to this role, Errol worked as a Guest Director/Lecturer at Beijing Normal University, where collaborative theatre programs were developed for young Chinese artists from January 2017 to December 2018. As a Creative Facilitator for UKCI, Errol prepared Performing Arts courses for children aged 3 to 15 in Xiamen, South China. Earlier experience includes serving as a Family Activity's Guide at Historic Royal Palaces and a Scare Actor at Madame Tussauds London. Errol holds a Master’s degree in Theatre Lab from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a BA HONS in Professional Dance from London Studio Centre.
