Rachel Lloyd

Learning Activities Assistant at Historic Royal Palaces

Rachel Lloyd has a strong background in education and visitor engagement in various cultural institutions. Rachel is currently working as a Visitor Engagement Assistant at the Old Royal Naval College. Prior to this, they held the position of Education/Families/Learning Facilitator at the British Museum starting in 2009. In 2011, Rachel volunteered as a Formal and Informal Learning Volunteer at the National Maritime Museum until January 2015. Rachel also worked as a Learning Activities Assistant at Historic Royal Palaces from 2015 onwards. Rachel's work experience also includes volunteering as a Gallery Teacher at Dulwich Picture Gallery from 2007 to 2015.

Rachel Lloyd completed a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art at the University of Warwick from 1982 to 1985. Rachel then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Education in Museums and Galleries at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society from 2008 to 2010.
