Kayla Blackman is an accomplished historian currently employed at Historical Research Associates, Inc. since June 2015, where research supports ongoing litigation on topics such as legislative histories and tribal history. Prior experience includes serving as an Outreach & Education Staff Member at the Montana Historical Society, focusing on the website montanawomenshistory.org from May 2013 to May 2015, and working as a Teaching Assistant in the University of Montana History Department, facilitating discussions and critical analysis of primary sources from August 2012 to May 2014. Kayla began the career at the University of Montana Anthropological Curation Facility, processing archaeological artifacts from August 2010 to May 2012.
