Dan Mooney, MBA, is an accomplished fundraising and development professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Currently serving as Major Gifts Director at History Colorado, Dan has previously held key positions including Senior Director and Director of Major Gifts at Mile High United Way, and Director of Development at LightHawk, where significant achievements include raising over $18 million at Crow Canyon Archaeological Center and revitalizing sales at Clear Lake Telephone. With a strong educational background featuring an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of Colorado Denver and a BA in English and History from the University of Colorado Boulder, Dan brings strategic leadership and a proven track record in cultivating donor relationships and advancing organizational goals.
