David Vershum

David Vershum has extensive work experience in the field of research and development, particularly in embedded systems, software engineering, and healthcare information technologies. David is currently serving as the R&D Director for Embedded Systems at HistoSonics, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of R&D Director for Software Engineering and Digital Health Solutions at embecta. David also worked at Cantel Medical as the Global R&D Director for Healthcare Information Technologies. David began their career at Boston Scientific, where they held various roles including Systems Engineering R&D Manager, Software Engineering Manager, Principal SW Engineer, Senior SW Engineer, Software Engineer II, and Software Engineer.

David Vershum received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002. David also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2011.
