Jorge Aguilar

Jorge Aguilar has a diverse and extensive work experience in trade compliance and logistics. Jorge is currently serving as the Director of Trade Compliance and Logistics at Hit Promotional Products since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at FedEx as a Sr. Manager Regulatory Compliance - Fedex Cross Border from October 2018 to February 2020. Jorge also held the position of Sr. Trade Compliance & Security Manager - Empowered Official at L3 Technologies from May 2017 to October 2018.

Before joining L3 Technologies, Jorge Aguilar worked at Jabil Circuit Inc. as the Regional Trade Compliance Manager - Americas from May 2007 to October 2016. Jorge started their career at Sanmina-SCI, where they held multiple roles including International Trade Compliance Analyst - Corporate from August 2005 to April 2007, and Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager - Enclosure Division from September 2003 to July 2005. Prior to that, they gained experience as the Head of Logistics-Trade at Betterware from January 2001 to August 2003. Throughout their career, Jorge Aguilar has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in import/export compliance, logistics program management, and trade compliance.

Jorge Aguilar attended the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in International Business. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Export Specialist (CES) from NCBFAA Shippers Association, Inc. in July 2019. In 2017, Jorge Aguilar also obtained the ITIL Service Offerings and Agreements (ITIL-SOA) certification from Global Knowledge.
