Founder/CEO at Hit Start

Theo Miller has a diverse work experience in various industries. Theo founded Hit Start in 2022 and serves as the Founder/CEO. Prior to that, they worked at Forbes as a Contributor, focusing on providing playful and whimsical commentary on relevant themes. Their work at Forbes received recognition and was syndicated by other publications.

Theo also has experience as a Corporate Podcast Producer, where they produced podcasts for companies like Lyft, Klaviyo, and Carta. This experience led him to establish Hit Start, a software company that builds version control for audio and video.

In addition, Theo served as a Judge and Mentor at the Big Ideas Competition at UC Berkeley. Theo used their professional experience in tech to provide guidance and evaluation for student proposals.

Before these roles, Theo worked at Carta as a Senior Product Designer, where they played a crucial role in building the Carta MVP and collaborating on the original investor services product. Theo also trained new hires and led interdepartmental projects.

Prior to Carta, Theo worked as a Junior Product Designer at GoodRevu, where they gained experience in SaaS fundamentals. Theo also worked as a Freelance Web Designer from 2010 to 2012.

Theo Miller attended Cornish College of the Arts from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Original Works with a focus on Theater.
