Manish Thakar

Manish Thakar has a diverse work experience in the information technology field. Manish currently holds the position of Associate Vice President - IT at Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the General Manager of Information Technology at the same company from August 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Hitachi, Manish served as the Chief Technology Officer at Badal Info Services Pvt. Ltd. from July 2021 to August 2022.

Manish also had a long tenure at Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics, where they held various roles including Information Technology Consultant, General Manager of Information Technology, Deputy General Manager - (IT), Senior Manager(IT), and Manager (IT). Manish worked at Hitachi from April 2012 to June 2021.

Their early career started at Hi-Rel Electronics Pvt Ltd., where they worked as a Manager (IT), Asst. Mgr., and Network Administrator from April 2001 to March 2012.

Manish Thakar's education history includes various certifications and degrees in the field of cybersecurity, computer science, law, and sociology. In 2000-2001, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from SMK Computer College. Manish later pursued a Diploma in Internet Law and Policy from Gujarat National Law University in 2015-2016. In 2018, they completed an Online Certificate Diploma in Cyber Security from Gujarat jobs and careers, specializing in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism. The following year, in 2019, they pursued an Advance Certificate in Information Security from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Additionally, Manish Thakar holds numerous certifications. Manish completed the Introduction to Cybersecurity course from Cisco in 2022.
