Steve Ayres

Steve Ayres is a Senior Applications Engineer at Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc., a position held since May 2006. From 2000 to 2006, Steve served as a Process Engineer at Applied Materials, gaining experience in tungsten etch, DRSEM, and CDSEM. Prior to that, Steve worked as a SW Project Manager at Dell between July 1998 and February 2000, and from March 1993 to July 1997, Steve was the Program Manager for nuclear waste sites at the U.S. Department of Energy, specifically at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory and Savannah River Site. Earlier in Steve's career, from September 1986 to April 1992, Steve was a Submarine Junior Officer in the US Navy, where qualifications included Engineer and a previous TS clearance.
