Chuck W.

Chuck W. has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Chuck started their career as an Avionics Specialist in the US Navy and worked there for eight years. Chuck then joined ACR Systems as a Technical Support Specialist for two years before moving on to Florida Blue. At Florida Blue, Chuck served as a Systems Analyst & Tester for four years and then became an IT Application Development Manager for three years. Chuck subsequently took on the role of an IT Project Manager for one year before becoming an Agile Scrum Master and Coach for three years. Currently, Chuck is working at Hitachi Solutions America, where they started as a North America Governance and Compliance Principal in 2016 and is now a Senior Director in the same department. Their responsibilities at Hitachi include providing coaching and training on Lean, Agile, and Agile Scaling Frameworks, standardizing project management and collaboration tools, and creating reusable deliverables and templates.

Chuck W. began their education in 1988 when they joined the United States Navy to pursue a degree in Avionics Engineering. Chuck completed their time in the Navy in 1990 and went on to study at Central Texas College from 1990 to 1992, although it is unknown if they obtained a degree or field of study.

In 1992, Chuck enrolled in Florida State College at Jacksonville, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Engineering, which they completed in 1996. After some time, Chuck pursued higher education and attended California Coast University from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

Throughout their career, Chuck also obtained several certifications. In 1999, they received an A+ Software/Hardware Certification from CompTIA. In 2003, they obtained the Mercury Quick Test Pro Automation Certification from Mercury - HP. In 2014, Chuck became a Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance. In the following years, they continued to enhance their expertise with certifications such as Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute in 2015, SAFe - SA from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2015, and Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum Alliance in 2016.

Chuck's professional development in certifications continued with Agility Health Certified Professional from Agile Transformation Inc. in 2015 and Change Management Practitioner from Prosci in 2018. In 2020, they completed additional certifications, including Agile Team Coaching and Agile Team Facilitation from ICAgile, as well as SAFe 5.0 Certified Member upgrade from Scaled Agile, Inc. Most recently, Chuck obtained the Certified Baseline PMO Consultant (CB-PMO)® certification from PMO Global Institute Inc. in 2023.
