Johnny du

Johnny Du is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in contract management and project development, currently serving as Assistant Manager, IP Legal at Hitachi since August 2021. Prior to this role, Johnny held positions at MODEC, Inc. as Assistant Manager, Commercial & Contract in the Project Development Department, and at JGC as Legal and Contract Staff within the Project Contract Team, where involvement included managing contracts and legal documents for both domestic and international projects in the oil and gas sector. Johnny's early career included experience as a project site expatriate at JGC Malaysia Sdn Bhd and as an intern at Nakayama Steel Works Ltd, where skills in quality control and project coordination were developed. Johnny holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Strategic Management from Purdue University and has completed a study abroad program at Sophia University.
