Kalyan Devaraju

Kalyan Devaraju currently serves as the Chief Risk Management Officer for Hitachi Connective Industries, overseeing the global risk management agenda and implementing Decision Support Systems since August 2025. Prior to this role, Kalyan was a senior leader at SABIC, where responsibilities included driving the enterprise risk management strategy focused on advanced risk modeling and analytics from August 2023 to July 2025. Kalyan also held the position of Head of Enterprise Risk Management at QAFCO from April 2014 to July 2023, establishing a comprehensive risk management framework. Early career experiences include managerial roles in enterprise risk management at Wells Fargo and Bank of America, where Kalyan developed risk frameworks aligned with corporate objectives. Academic qualifications include an Executive Program in Leadership and Management from the Indian Institute of Management, an International Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management from the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Osmania University, complemented by certification in Quantitative Risk Management.
