Prior to this role, Dr. Sugita served as the Laboratory Manager and Chief Scientist at Hitachi Europe from April 2011 to March 2016, and worked as a Chief Researcher at Hitachi, Ltd. from April 1992 to March 2016. Dr. Sugita holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology, Control from Waseda University and a Master's degree in Nuclear Physics from Okayama University. Throughout the career, Dr. Sugita has been involved in the development of non-linear control systems for various industrial applications.
