Maxine Ghavi

M. Maxine Ghavi serves as the EVP and Head of Europe at Hitachi Energy since July 2019, also holding the position of Group SVP for Grid Edge Solutions. Since December 2019, M. Maxine Ghavi has been a member of the Foundation Board at the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy. Prior experience includes multiple roles at ABB from May 2011 to July 2019, where responsibilities included Group SVP for Market Development, Microgrids, and Grid Edge Technologies, as well as initiatives in the solar industry. M. Maxine Ghavi also held the Director position at Oerlikon Solar, served as a consultant at Countrywide Financial Corporation, and was VP of Sales and Business Unit Manager at Voyan Technology. Early career experience includes roles as a Sr Product Manager at KLA-Tencor and Global Sales and Marketing Manager at ILC Technology. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Physics from San Jose State University and studies at IMD.
