Bernard Avon

Bernard Avon is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in both design engineering and financial advising. Currently serving as a Senior Signalling Design Engineer at Hitachi Rail since April 2020, Bernard focuses on the complex design and independent verification of signalling systems in compliance with stringent standards. In addition, Bernard has been a Financial Advisor at Penn Financial Services LLC since January 2016, where strategic financial planning for retirement and legacy management is a primary responsibility. Previously, Bernard held senior engineering roles at Westinghouse Electric Company, where expertise in nuclear power plant control software was developed, and at Bell Flight, providing oversight for instrumentation installations on flight test aircraft. Early career experience includes managing electrical engineering tasks at American Bridge Company. Bernard earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Geneva College and has also completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Free Code Camp.
