Brendan Harte

Brendan Harte is an experienced professional in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management, currently serving as the Head of HSE UK at Hitachi Rail since January 2022. Brendan ensures the implementation and monitoring of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) in alignment with international standards and compliance strategies. Prior to this role, Brendan held the position of EHS Director for Product Line Services at Alstom, where responsibilities included developing and implementing an EHS strategy across regions. Brendan's extensive experience also includes serving as Head of HSE for the UK Region at Bombardier, where the role involved overseeing HSE across various sites and managing the UK's response to COVID-19. Brendan holds a degree in Environmental Health and a Diploma in Industrial Studies from Ulster University.
