Catherine Popplewell

Catherine Popplewell is an experienced professional in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as the Procurement and Supply Chain Planning and Control Manager at Hitachi Rail since February 2015. Catherine has held several key roles at Hitachi Rail, including Procurement Project Manager and Category Lead for both Bogie, Traction & Signalling and Electrical and Electronics. Prior experience includes working as a Lead Buyer for Heavy Maintenance at Bombardier Transportation and as a Project Manager at both Albatros UK and Rail Door Solutions Ltd. Catherine holds a BA (Hons) in International Business with German from Sheffield Hallam University and completed A Levels at Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls.
