Giuseppe Marino

Giuseppe Marino is Group CEO of Hitachi Rail, a global, full-service provider of rail services and products, with a presence in 38 countries and over 14,000 colleagues.

Giuseppe has a strong background in engineering and international management, bringing with him experience from the automotive, security technology and energy sectors. He has held senior posts at Iveco, Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, AnsaldoBreda (now Hitachi Rail) and Ansaldo Energia.

In Giuseppe’s previous role as Chief Operating Officer at Hitachi Rail, he oversaw the integration of Ansaldo Breda. His achievements include the delivery of the ETR1000, Italy’s flagship very high speed train, and embedding a culture of operational excellence at the company's Newton Aycliffe factory in the UK.
