Hao-Chuan Chen

Hao-chuan Chen possesses extensive experience in system integration and engineering within the rail and transit sectors. Currently serving as the System Integration Manager and Principal System Engineer at Hitachi Rail since April 2019, Hao-chuan Chen has been involved in significant projects such as the ETCS L2 in Queensland and Manila, as well as the Taiwan San-Ying Line CBTC GoA4 project. Previous roles include System Integration Manager at Ansaldo STS, where collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team was key for rapid transit systems, and System Design Manager at Alstom, focusing on metro systems in Taichung. Earlier positions ranged from serving as Project Manager at Welltek International, overseeing Automatic Train Protection systems, to a network engineering role at Sparq NCIC. Education includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Feng Chia University.
